Kendra is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist who has been practicing since 2012. Born and raised in the Seattle area, Kendra grew up enjoying the outdoors with hiking, snowboarding and camping with her family. She loves to read a wide genre of books and enjoys traveling and exploring the PNW with her family. Her more recent hobbies include keeping her two sons busy with building obstacle courses in her living room and lots of playtime together swimming in the pool.

Kendra attended Western Washington University for her undergraduate degree in exercise science and then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences. From there she has continued her learning by earning her Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) through the University of St Augustine. This certification provides more specific training for an integrative hands on approach to evaluating and treating spine and extremity joint segments with functional movement patterns. Kendra's other experience includes coursework in Vestibular Rehabilitation in the treatment of patients with dizziness and vertigo, coursework in pelvic floor and abdominal wall dysfunction and balance and fall prevention programs. She is ASTYM certified which utilizes an evidence based approach to treating soft tissue injuries, scar tissue and tendinopathies using instrument based treatment. She completed her Board Certification to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2015.

Kendra enjoys working with a variety of patients and has a special interest in treating balance and fall prevention programs, post surgical care and postural and movement dysfunctions that affect the spine, pelvis and shoulder. She enjoys working with people regarding the complexities of their individual impairments and working to create individualized care plans that focuses on treating the whole person and not limited to one injury or symptom. She utilizes an approach of integrative techniques including joint/soft tissue mobilization, core and spinal stabilization program, functional strength training and motor control and coordination training. She enjoys educating people to understand their own bodies in a new way and to be a part of a patient's empowerment to return to their activities with confidence.
