Kyle grew up in Shoreline, Washington where he attended Shorewood High School. He earned his BS in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Western Washington University. Kyle received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah.

Kyle’s passion for physical therapy was solidified when he shadowed in an outpatient orthopedic clinic while in high school. He observed therapists working with weekend warriors to get back to recreational activities and the positive impact the sessions had on the patient’s lives.

Through his clinical rotations, Kyle worked with various patient populations from adolescents to geriatrics, from sports injuries to general orthopedic conditions. He enjoyed the ability to connect with patients during their rehabilitation and to assist them with the mental barriers that accommodated their diagnoses.

Kyle was introduced to the Schroth method for treating scoliosis on one of his rotations and he was able to see the positive results throughout the patient’s care. This experience has made Kyle committed to becoming a certified Schroth therapist in the future.

Outside work, Kyle loves to camp, hike, cheer on local Seattle sports, and spend time with his friends/family and his dog, Poppy. He has made a goal with his wife, Alex, to visit all the United States national parks at some point in their lifetime.
