Liam was born in Seattle but grew up in San Francisco, California. He attended Willamette University in Salem, OR receiving his BA in Exercise Science in 2018 where he also played on the soccer team and worked in the athletic training department. Liam received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021 from The University of Colorado. Following graduation, he completed an Orthopedic Residency Program through Evidence in Motion in 2023.

During his time in graduate school, Liam had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings. He completed his clinical rotations at the University of Colorado Inpatient and Outpatient Pavilions, as well as in Outpatient Physical Therapy in Kent, WA. He also had the opportunity to volunteer at several community clinics working with underserved patients in Denver, Colorado and Jinja, Uganda.

Liam was first introduced to physical therapy after sustaining a back injury when playing soccer. He spent two years recovering from this injury before ultimately playing soccer at his college. Because of this, he has a passion for working with back injuries and with athletes of all ages. He enjoys working with patients throughout the whole recovery process including the mental challenges that often accompany injuries.

Since graduating, Liam has been working with a wide range of patients from high level athletes to general orthopedic injuries in the greater Seattle area. He enjoys helping his patients get back to the activities they value, as well as creating long lasting improvements in their health. Liam has a strong background in strength and conditioning and obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification while in graduate school to give him additional tools to help his patients reach their goals. He has also pursued continuing education in the form of an intensive one year orthopedic residency program, which provided him with further education in the management of orthopedic injuries and is planning on sitting for the orthopedic clinical specialist exam this upcoming year. Additionally, he has specialized training in the use of spinal manipulation to give him further tools to work with his patients.

Outside of work, Liam loves spending time with friends, family, and his wife Heidi. He enjoys hiking, playing soccer, snowboarding, crossfit, and running. He is currently training for his first marathon after being inspired by many of his patients. He is a very proud dog dad and can often be found at Marymoor park with his dog Gryffin on the weekends.
