Erin grew up in Virginia and graduated from The College of William and Mary with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. While in school she conducted biomechanics research on running, rowed on the club crew team, and became a certified personal trainer. She spent a year assisting with research on myositis at the National Institutes of Health, gaining a new appreciation for the research that informs PT clinical practice. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and road-tripped across the country with her partner to live in Seattle.

Erin has experience working with patients with orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses, and she recently became PWR!Moves certified to optimize her care for people with Parkinson’s Disease. She enjoys working with people who want to build or continue a habit of lifelong physical activity and uses her creative energy to help patients find ways to stay healthy while doing the things that are important to them.

Erin’s care for her patients is informed by her own experience with PT following ACL and meniscus surgeries when she was injured playing soccer in high school. She understands the challenge of feeling limited by your body, and the patience and dedication it requires to go through rehabilitation. She strives to create an inclusive and compassionate environment where her patients feel listened to and empowered.

Erin has developed some basic Spanish language skills through travel and study, and she enjoys the opportunity to communicate with her patients who speak Spanish as their primary language. In addition to traveling, she loves biking, hiking, disc golfing, salsa dancing, and playing music.
